Tucked away behind an unassuming house, in an unassuming neighborhood of South Seattle, is a repository of Harley-Davidson history unlike any other. Dave Eady, proud member (and past president) of the Seattle Cossacks motorcycle drill team, has gathered this collection of H-D rarities over a half century. In some cases, it's here to stay, while in others, it may get shipped to a desperate Flathead aficionado (for a price). We were given the secret handshake, and Dave gave us the deluxe tour of his museum. One of the more remarkable aspects of his cache of history is the breadth of it: Everything from bikes, to a functioning workshop, to nearly century-old parts in original packaging is contained in just a couple hundred square feet. If you need more of a fix for the nostalgic than we are able to provide in just a couple pages, or would like a view of your own, you can check it all out online (along with Cossacks historical records and a bunch of other stuff) at www.dave-eady.org.
